Watch this video to understand what makes our project management training different.
Our classes can be delivered in a virtual, hybrid, or on-site classroom.
Virtual Classroom: Participants will attend live sessions that last up to 3 hours. Using Zoom, our instructor will deliver lecture and examples, and participants will ask questions, provide answers, join group discussions and complete group case study activities. Participants will complete group activities in virtual breakout rooms, and then reconvene to deliver their results to the full class. Participants will receive copies of the course slides, activity materials, reference resources, and project management templates through our Learning Platform.
Hybrid Classroom: Participants will complete the course over several weeks. Each week participants will complete readings, discussions, individual activities, and other microlearnings at their own pace using our Learning Platform. Then at pre-determined times, participants will join the Zoom virtual classroom for a live session for discussions led by our instructor, and group case study activities.
On-Site Classroom: Participants will attend live sessions. Our instructor will deliver lecture and examples, and participants will ask questions, provide answers, join group discussions and complete group case study activities. Participants will receive copies of the course slides, activity materials, and project management templates.
Project Management From Start to Finish describes a practical, scalable, and holistic approach to project management. Written by Lisa-Ann Barnes, an experienced project management consultant, this book balances the mechanics of project management with the strategic and leadership skills needed to manage projects in today's complex environments. The activities and deliverables of each phase of the project management process are detailed from a practice-based, not theory-based, perspective. Guidance is provided for tailoring the process to ensure the project manager is always adding value to the project. Best practices, examples from real projects, and downloads to a set of integrated templates make this book a useful reference. This digital book delivers content through text, videos, audios, reflection questions, and self-check activities.
